This whole registration renewal thing sometimes really gets to me. Sometimes I don;t think I will make it through and I would have blown 10 grand, sometimes I think I will be OK. Just what the heall is the registration body trying to do? 'They' say there is a desparate shortage of nurses so why in Gods name do they make it so hard to re register? Why I can't do this course locally has me baffled? The local hospital can accommodate student nurses from 3 different universities, so why can't the course be run using the resources already in place? All i am doing is refreshing my training.....I am not learning from scratch....... I know I have to learn how to use the latest equipment, no problems there, I know I have to scrub off the rust, no problems there....God, we ALL do but WHY OH WHY must I do this in Sydney, WHY do they need $10,000 from me to do this? I cannot, for the life of me, see nor understand how they can justify charging such a huge amount of money for an 8 week program......4 weeks of theory and 4 weeks of clinical IF there is a space available at whatever hospital they choose????? They can't even decide on when the courses are to run.... I was told the dates would be available by the end of October...... STILL not on the web site....
Ahpra...you sh*t me to tears.....

Image Transfers
I went to a workshop yesterday on Image Transfer. It was held at Scrap a While by the SO talented Rob Keogh.
Now I want to do some bits and bobs for my children and my little Poppet :) :)
I will add some photos when I am more organised :)

Goodness Me !!!
I remembered I have a blog and now I'll put a little post in :) :)
Not a lot of scrapping being done....... I DID get to SWOF over the weekend. Scrapawhile's Weekend Of Fun....and it WAS. I had a ball. Did a couple of classes by Rachel Greig, owner of Darkroom Door, such a talented lady. It's wonderful that Alita ( http://www.scrapawhile.com.au/blog/ ) can get these ladies here. I also did a class with Nathalie Kalbach a couple of months ago. ANOTHER fantastic day!!! We did a canvas using Tattered Angel's products. It is always a good thing to get out of our comfort zones occasionally.
I am really looking forward to having my scrapping stash re-organised and fully usable..... people will never see me !!! :) :) Starting a new job next week....evenings and nights in a local Nursing Home. It will be good to be earning some decent money again. Blood collection was good but the pay was SO bad.....just above the minimum wage. LOTS OF SCRAPPING money, hunny!! LOL...Nah...I want to go and visit my little Poppet in July so this will be a way pay for it. Too long since I have seen her.....
See you next time... :)
